We comply with GDPR, which is why we never sell or give away guest information to third parties without our guests’ explicit consent. For marketing purposes we may film our own events. If we do and you prefer not to appear, tell our team on site.
When you book we ask for your name, email address, phone number, address, postcode and city. We need these to complete the booking, reach you if anything about your tour changes, and register the booking with our booking provider.
If you send a corporate or school enquiry we keep the details you provide until the matter is closed.
- Understory — our booking platform. Your tour booking is registered and paid there, which is what gives you your ticket and reminder.
- Stripe — payment in the shop (books and souvenirs). Your card details go straight to Stripe and never pass through our systems.
- Resend — delivery of your booking confirmation.
- Siteflow — the platform that runs this website, its content and the cookie-free visit statistics. If you buy something in the shop, Siteflow is also our order register: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and what you ordered are stored there.
Each of them processes the data as our data processor, for the purpose stated above.
This website sets no cookies. We keep cookie-free, anonymous visit statistics (page views — never who you are) via our platform provider Siteflow. There are no advertising scripts and no social embeds. Images are served from our own server.
If you sign in to the admin panel, a session is stored locally in your browser. It is required for the panel to work and is not used for anything else.
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to the processing, and to receive it in a machine-readable format. Get in touch and we will arrange it.
